Christian Education Formation
Formation of a Christian life is serious stuff that won't work if we take ourselves too seriously.
Formation seeks to balance the intellectual content of
faith with the deeper resources of our shared experience. It informs not only the mind but the
heart and all the rest of us. It hopes to move us in this common effort to
say, "Do you think we could?"
as opposed to, "Do I have to?"
Classes and study groups during the Christian education hour at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings
and during the week provide a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth. Forums are planned for outstanding
speakers and community leaders to share their ideas on Sunday mornings. Child care is provided for infants and toddlers,
and education for preschool and kindergarten-aged children is available during the 9 a.m. Christian education hour.

Discovery Bible Class
The Discovery Bible Class meets

over a six-year cycle, the class includes intensive examination of each of the Gospels. Led by
Bruce Danielson. Call Bruce at (206) 282-7498 for more information.
Inviting Silence
Using the peaceful setting of our small chapel at the
south end of the building, this quiet and meditation time is held every Sunday from 9-9:50 a.m.
This is a time for meditation, brief discussion and quiet, and recorded music on topics related
to meditational practice. Led by Rev. Peter Ilgenfritz. Call Peter at (206) 523-2322 for more information.
