9 a.m. Sunday Mornings
Our 9 a.m. education hour offers seekers of all
ages the opportunity to explore their faith and learn more about the
foundations of Christianity. Whether you are an eager preschooler or an inquiring
retiree (or somewhere in between), our education hour has something for you.
Plan to arrive a few minutes early (there's coffee available), and check the
information in the narthex (lobby) for what is offered and where to go.

Sunday Morning Worship

a.m. All Year
Our main worship
service is designed to appeal to people of all ages and all depth of
belief. We open each service by welcoming everyone: believers, seekers and
doubters.
We blend the elements of music, prayer,
scripture and teaching so that our Sabbath time together is joyful,
challenging, renewing and often very moving. Worship usually lasts about an
hour and fifteen minutes. Dress is casual. And there's always time afterward
for coffee and fellowship.
Our preschoolers and elementary children begin worship with us, and then leave after
a few minutes for church school. On communion Sundays and during the summer
months, elementary children remain in the service and have the option to
participate in "special sermon time" with one of the pastors. They rejoin the congregation after
the sermon.
Nursery care is available year round. Of course, children of any age are
welcome in the worship service at any time. Click here

Wednesday Evening Worship
All are welcome at the 6 p.m. Wednesday evening
Taizé-style worship service and the soup and bread dinner, which follows the service.
About our Taizé Service:
The Taizé-style service is a beautiful, reflective
service that includes communal prayer, a brief period of silence, the sacrament of Communion, and music from the
Taizé community (an ecumenical community of brothers located in a small village in eastern France). The music of
Taizé is characterized by simple, repetitive phrases set to tuneful melodies. |
